Bingada is fish-scales in Gujarati. The project is a series of portraits of women butchers of the fish market near Laal Darwaza, Ahmedabad.
It is experiences like these that open one’s eyes to the sheer resilience of the human spirit and the undying will to sustain and survive the pain that comes one’s way.
